Brentt Hoover, CFP®

Brentt grew up in Pennsylvania and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1993-1997. After checking into Camp Pendleton on his first day in California, he headed to Tijuana as the designated driver for some fellow Marines. Taking care of friends paid off. While his friends were cavorting, Brentt struck up a conversation with Christy. She lived in Minnesota and was visiting her sister in Escondido. They spent their evening talking and had enough time together over the rest of Christy's visit to know that they had something special. Christy moved to California, and with the exception of Brentt’s deployment, they’ve been together ever since.  Three kids: Madeleine, Sam, and Max, and 20 years later, it’s still a classic love story.

Brentt believes that every problem has a solution. Part of what he loves about financial planning is working with clients to help them find those solutions. Brentt earned a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Financial Planning from San Diego State University and continued his professional development by acquiring CFP®, CASL®, CLU®, ChFC®, and RICP® designations. Brentt has served as a Board Member for the Greater Navajo Area Business Association, Kids Included Together (KIT), the Financial Planning Association of San Diego, and has taught financial literacy with Junior Achievement and has provided financial counseling to fellow Marines. Outside of financial planning, Brentt enjoys camping with his family, running, and cycling.
